Bark house poplar bark siding is crafted from the peeled bark of tulip poplar trees liriodendron tulipifera. Stored siding should be 4 to 6 inches above the ground with air circulating freely around and throughout the stack. Install narrow 1 2 3 4 inch thick kickout strip at bottom of wall and work upwards. Installation is quicker saving you money.
Interior grade is only for interior applications. The curved bark is then stacked flattened and air dried. For 18 bark we recommend a 6 overlap during installation to net a 12 bark exposure on the surface. The bark is squared kiln dried and quality assured.
There is a slight range in the thickness because this is a natural material with unique characteristics. The thickness should be at least 5 8. Natural bark siding the original. Keep the poplar bark dry prior to installation.
